Excited to find that there was a need for beautiful handmade specialty tile in Idaho, Georgia Stokes decided to follow her dream and open The Tile House in Garden City.  Georgia is one of IDI’s newest members.  She has a BFA in Painting from UC Boulder and an AA in Product Development from FIDM in San Francisco.  She started her career in 2003 with Mission Tile West in South Pasadena which is the premier tile showroom in the LA area. 

In 2012, she designed, opened, and managed their largest showroom in Costa Mesa, CA.Later she worked for Artistic Tile in Dallas and Tarbarka Studio in West Hollywood.In the three years prior to coming to Boise, Georgia was Senior Designer at Pratt + Larson in Oregon.
